Cool airplanes interest almost everyone.
I wasn't sure what the aircraft on the ground was (above it you see the B52 that it used for piggy back rides to test altitude) , but 3 readers used the comment feature to let me know it was the Northrop HL 10, used to do flight research on aircraft design for unpowered reentry from space, utilizing the speed of falling to create lift for the controlled flight of the spacecraft. More interesting than the facts of it's intended R&D use, is that it was the featured spacecraft the Million Dollar Man tv show appeared to use as the crash vehicle that made it necesary to create the bionic man. Just a fun tidbit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northrop_HL-10Sunday, December 19, 2010

Intriguing variety of cool photographs on Le Container
surprising things in the Jesada Technik Museum in Nakhonphathom, Thailand

Looks like a coal burning conversion, I've never seen one before, but I have seen a wood burning truck conversion for the cold climates of Russia
I believe the above is a Tempo Matador
Not sure if this is a Tempo Matador, but it looks like one that has had the hand made wooden door and bed treatment

See a couple of galleries of all the bikes, scooters, and cars at the Jesada on the http://6nicestpeople9.blogspot.com/

the 1929 Caproni Ca.90, a six-engined inverted sesquiplane. In 1929 it was the largest aircraft in the world, it held that record until 1934
A six-engined inverted sesquiplane designed as a heavy bomber, read more about it and see a couple more photos at: http://dieselpunks.blogspot.com/2010/07/italian-giant.html
