Cool airplanes interest almost everyone.

I wasn't sure what the aircraft on the ground was (above it you see the B52 that it used for piggy back rides to test altitude) , but 3 readers used the comment feature to let me know it was the Northrop HL 10, used to do flight research on aircraft design for unpowered reentry from space, utilizing the speed of falling to create lift for the controlled flight of the spacecraft. More interesting than the facts of it's intended R&D use, is that it was the featured spacecraft the Million Dollar Man tv show appeared to use as the crash vehicle that made it necesary to create the bionic man. Just a fun tidbit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northrop_HL-10

Gen. Patton transferring from plane to car

In the photo are Gen Bradley, Hodges, Eisenhower and Patton in the short time before WW2. Gotta be a one of a kind photo I think.
Thanks for the photo Chris! aka http://chrisoncars.com/

Smothers Brothers 68 Hurst Olds

I'm watching Season 3, episode 212, (you can get it from Netflix, mailed, it's not instant downloadable) and they filmed Dick taking his Olds (looks like a 68 Hurst Olds) down the quarter mile in 12.9 at 109

I can't put the youtube video here, the owner doesn't allow that option (he wants you to see it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xh3qg14K2-M or buy it on his website)

Some still photos are in a silent video, no action film at all, at minute 5:48 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yv2KBEXlZiE&NR=1

New movie with muscle cars, action throughout, and Dwayne Johnson playing a tough guy for a change, think 80's action flick

http://www.fasterthemovie.com/#/splash/trailer loads a lot faster in Google Chrome than Internet Explorer (ridiculously slow)
or

After 10 years in prison, Driver (Dwayne Johnson) has a singular focus -- to avenge the murder of his brother during the botched bank robbery that led to his imprisonment. Now a free man with a deadly to do list in hand, he’s finally on his mission, but with two men on his trail, a veteran cop (Billy Bob Thornton) just days from retirement and a young egocentric hitman with a flair for the art of killing and a newfound worthy opponent. The hunter is also the hunted. It’s a do or die race to the list’s finish as the mystery surrounding his brother’s murder deepens, and new details emerge along the way hinting that Driver’s list may be incomplete.

In theaters November 24th
